Paul Woodworth - Week 10

Hi Seif! I tried to push the contrast more closely to the reference image like you mentioned. I think now it's a lot closer to that but feel like I may have also added a lot more busy detail - and wonder if that has started to take away from the focus of the image.

I am also a bit intimidated by the idea of having to render details like leaves and tree trunks, etc when there are so many in the image to keep track of. I'm thinking maybe I should start with rendering details just around the focal point of the image?

Thanks for any further feedback, and thank you so much for a great class this term.

  1. Hey Paul, Looking great overall. what i would suggest to bring more interest to the focal point is to strengthen the rim light thats on it to make it pop. also dont worry about individual leafs and tree trunks from this distance. And in general try to group things together in bunches when theres many of them, always thing of the hair analogy, we dont render every hair when painting it, but rather clumps of hair grouped together. whats most important when doing these things are your light/dark shape edges, they should have the most info.

anyway great job overall man, Keep it up!!
